How I work
In our sessions, we will talk. I do not offer universal advice or decide for you how you should live. Together, we can explore how your difficulty emerged, what feelings and recurring patterns may be connected with it, what you fear, what you long for, and why it can sometimes be so hard to change something that you already understand rationally.
I offer psychological support in a contemporary psychoanalytic approach. I value a form of psychotherapy in which attention to a specific concern is combined with a deeper exploration of personality. An important part of the work is the possibility of speaking freely: not only about what is clear and already formed, but also about what feels contradictory, uncomfortable, or still vague. I will listen to you and ask questions, so that together we can come closer to the less conscious reasons behind your feelings and actions.
Gradually, this kind of exploration can help you feel that you do not have to keep living according to the same old automatic patterns. More choice becomes possible. I believe that this capacity to choose brings us closer to happiness — to the ability to build relationships, work, and live with more freedom and pleasure.
